I'm finding the whole Kate Bush bandwagon to be a frightful bore. She hasn't been out exploring the galaxy for the past 35 years, she's been at home baking cakes and quilting. Presumably the money has been running low, the bank manager has had a quiet word, and so she's decided to face her stage-fright and trot out her pretentious hit-and-often-miss back catalogue to bump up the coffers.

I heard a BBC radio news item after her first gig where they asked fans leaving the show afterwards what they had thought of it. One guy who was clearly wetter than an otter's codpiece gushed something along the lines that "...the first part was water and the second part was air, and we were all drawn in to commune with the light" or some such bollocks. You wouldn't believe these chaps exist outside of sitcoms.

I must apologize to you Swords, the picture of Kate I posted must be a good 15 years old now or photo-shopped up the max having looked at your link.

I'm not going to beat around the bush and just agree with you that she is fat, end off.

Nah, not an attraction for me, I'm afraid. I quite like much of her work, but if there's a bandwagon I'm usually to be found waiting for the bus heading the opposite direction.

Great Bill Kerr post, but possibly on the wrong thread of yours?
