1. Your favourite film?

There's just too many, lots have already been included. Even by genre I'd struggle. recently I enjoyed the secret life of Walter Mitty, but some of the oldies are most memorable eg. Papillon, The Shining, Elf!

2. Your favourite actor and actress? De Niro and De Caprio; Sigourney Weaver and Natalie Portman get my vote. versatility and quality. And Natalie is a little hottie with a decent noggin on her.

3. Your favourite song/piece of music? Uncertain Smile, TheThe is one that comes to mind..

4. Your favourite book? A Hundred Years of Solitude, Gabriel Garcia-Marquez; Shadow of the Wind, Carlos Zafon - the two standout stories I've read in recent memory.

5. Favourite moment in sporting history outside of your club team? England vs Spain in the a Euros. Back in 96 I think. Mad, mad, mad day out and cracking game to boot.

6. Your guilty pleasure? A spontaneous day/night on the lasharoo, sadly very rare these days. Otherwise I love disappearing into a good book. Sad old fart that I am.

I've fallen asleep watching Walter Mitty no less than three times, I don't think it's to do with the film it's just cos I've always stuck it on when I was in bed, now I'm at the stage where I've seen the start 3 times and can't bear to watch it again.

Just watched a movie called...13, with Jason Statham and Ray Winston.....wtf.

Was it crap Comm? I like Mickey Rourke, not sure about 50 cent as an actor mind.

My mate was shagging Ray Winstone's daughter Jamie for a while, she's not fit at all, bit of a stinker really.

I really don't know mate, it's a weird storyline, also not very long..The ending was a disappointment,

I wouldn't say it's crap, maybe just had more potential than it delivered.

Going to see Lucy this arvo. Looking forward to it. Scarlett Johansson mmmmm

Yeah I wanna see that it looks good, but might be one of those films where all the best bits are in the trailer and the rest's just cack, like Hancock.

Scarlett Johansson would get both barrels from me mind, bet she's a right dirty slag.

I got the message "This video is not available in your country you f**ing pig, buy the DVD"... that was a bit rude.

It's a a Sunday late afternoon kinda flick. Some canny cinematography in it, and it defo gets better after the first 20 mins or so which are kinda slow.

I saw Lucy at the weekend Terry. If you forget the science crap, and the mistaken premise about using just 10% of our brains, and just enjoy the story for what it is, its a cracking film! Really enjoyed it. Scarlett & Luc Besson - what's not to like!!!

Did you know Judge Judy is on a $45m per year salary? That's just mind blowing how she's managed that.

Works out something like $123,000 per day.

Sounds good to me then, Scarlett Johansson's probably worth the entrance fee alone.

I've never been a fan of a horror movie mate, they're either just a gore-fest or some silly yank girl running about her house getting chased by a man with a knife who refuses to run.

I quite liked the Ring because of how my mrs was when she was watching it, she was genuinely terrified and I was entertained by that!

Can't beat IT though, he was some ****ed up clown, they're remaking that apparently.

Seen the one's in red, i'm a fan of the Hills have eyes re-makes.

I've always wanted to compile a list of films to get my mrs to watch to get her away from just the cheesy **** flicks she watches, the only thing I've managed to ascertain is she likes things that are true stories... Here's a few films she's enjoyed, not all true stories or adaptations...

Warrior
Shutter Island
Schindler's List
Murder In The First
Unbreakable
Taking of Pelham 123
Dangerous Minds
Gangster Squad
TWOWS
American Hustle
Pursuit of Happiness

So what can I get her to watch now? She won't entertain the thought of watching a film like Rocky, Platoon, Gladiator, Avengers... it has to be something that will keep her attention and the fact that it's a true story/based on one, usually does help.

I've seen every chick flick ever made by the way, it gets mind numbing. I ****ing hate Adam Sandler.
