Sorry mate, I like your usual banter, I really do, but you're sounding like the drunk Glaswegian at the bar who's your best friend at first, then wants to punch your lights out later.

You're reading into this stuff that isn't there. Let keep it sensible, huh? <ok>

Little man syndrome.

A great football day out nonetheless, the derby is always special to us from Suffolk and Norfolk.

What a cracking post. It's what it's all about. OK, we won this one, maybe we'll lose the next, who knows, but the EA derby is back, and I love it.

The media may gloss over it, but we wont. <ok>

I hope "gloss over it" isn't a euphemism?:emoticon-0114-dull:

:emoticon-0109-kiss: I bet you done that message on your i pad you flash git.

You suggesting I got one for my birthday?

Mrs G said she was buying me a rabbit. I got a hutch and some bedding, but apparently, I should have just bought batteries?

She said it would take some of the load off my old bones.

You're absolutely right mate, Saturday was exactly what it's all about, your lot belting out the songs in the pub gardens opposite the station, the buzz in the Drum and Monkey was off the hook, Rileys opposite spilling out into the street, OB on horseback, the passion, the green and yellow in the away section, a rammed SBR, helicopters hovering overhead afterwards...I watched the highlights and the TV didn't do justice to the atmosphere in the ground...

We may have lost, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world, it was special, it was indeed, what football is really all about.

Absolutely not what that post meant.

My apologies that it has upset you. It was an honest joke and no malice was meant whatsoever, certainly not towards your kids.

You shouldn't have to feel bad about that Rob.

I've been around here long enough to know nobody would make any derogatory comments about another poster's family, and Warky knows that full well, and shouldn't be putting you in that awkward position.

Get a grip guys, please.

I must have been at a different game then!

The Norwich lot only started singing when they scored!

The Upper SBR was like a bloody morgue apart from the mindless banging of that poxy drum.

I appreciate your comments Rob and thanks!

I will restore your REP once I have spread some around. <ok>

Thanks JWM <ok>

Don't worry about the rep, it's nice to receive comments from people on your posts, but the actual number doesn't matter

And of course I do know you're not really the youtube phenomenon that is Ipswich Crazy ;)

I'm not surprised the atmosphere was dead from both fans. !2.15 kick-offs mean there's no booze flowing through veins and stopping your inhibitions. I get the safety reason, but it really does kill emotion.

Also, there were understandably massive nerves for Norwich fans before the match had started and Ipswich started impressively so there wasn't much to shout about.
