<laugh> poor ****er, bit harsh to make him pay for the beers then <whistle>

how do their mortgages work then, assuming its going to be similar to self employed people where its not a guaranteed income, as there wages maybe set for the length of the contract they are currently on, but its not a long term thing is it.

Hint: footballers don't need long-term mortgages anyway

I'd have thought he'd have enough in his bank to put down a deposit of all, if not most of the value of the house. Assuming his house costs £1m, only takes him a few 6 months working to earn that on 40k a week.

I'm sure he doesn't have a mortgage, but insurance to pay for all his cars, etc is probably quite steep. Maintenance on all his properties, and taxes, etc.

I'm sure he has employees that do various jobs for him. I can imagine it is very expensive to be rich and cutting your income can make a difference.

I'm with Frank on this - he's not a disruptive influence or anything, seems as though he tries he's hardest at all times and believes that he will get a chance at some point and try and grab it.

We have made enough signings this window already and he will be gone in the next window or 2 if he plays no football

For different reasons I'm with frank on this one. We should respect any player who is prepares to stay and fight for his place even though the club have brought in other players to cover his position. He already has a good idea what his chances of success are in achieving his objective and he may be tilting at windmills but you have to respect the resolve.

So to us, we see that there is supposed to still be an offer on the table from Sunderland. However, we do not know what his relationship is like with individuals at that club. He may well feel that it is not in his best interests to return. So perhaps he wants the time for his agent to find alternatives during the course of this coming season. We'd at least owe him the opportunity to try that.

apparently after the game against the mancs gus made a bee line for hernandez, is this true?, and what do people think of it, guess it means if true borini decision is final and they are now looking for alternatives.

those pics are for tomorrow. our marketing scum hold said pics in case we lose tonight to put out as a ignore that result fellas type of story... simple save the good news over for tomorrow. lots of bad on telly muck on our website then... and if we win it'll be quikcly buried under city beaten headlines.

Glad it's done and dusted BUT it may not really be - he's not LEANING

Or on the loo.

Check the Balotelli thread, or the LFC website. They're all on there <whistle>

So do you think that's it. Very pleased with what we have done, the ballotelli signing being the icing on the cake I hope!
Can you see any one else coming in? Keeper or DM?
Talks of a few going which I think they need to but don't think Borini will leave.

We've still got the Israeli kid on trial, midfielder, likely to sign. Although he's for the U21s. First team- I'd be surprised if we got anyone else in, besides Reus, Shaqiri and Falcao (all givens).

I think it depends on outgoings. If we shift Borini, Agger, Assiaid, Lucas, then it'd be nice to get a proper DM in but I think 9 signings in a window is probably enough. Maybe wait until Jan to see how things go.
