<laugh> I really didn't know they were from Liverpool, and it took a Manc to tell me different.

    For shame! <wah>

I got my groove on to groovy train and all together now. Stood freezing my cobblers off in a field.

Am stunned you didn't know they were scousers. Shame on you.

I bet it was worth braving the cold for, though.

Yeah, it is shocking I didn't know they were scousers. I fully deserve the dressing down from both you and our venerable Saint.

    What a five-speed-gearbox I am. :steam:

When he started all together now it was a spine tingler. Loved that record when I was a kid.

Just need to see the happy Mondays and the stone roses and my youth will be complete.

Always liked the inspiral carpets too though they aren't on the small festival circuit it would seem.

Loved the Happy Mondays and the Stone Roses (both definitely from Manchester!). I never really got into Inspiral Carpets, despite my older brother having a few of their early albums.

    Loved The Charlatans, though.

I can't believe MOTD is 50 this year.

Lots of good childhood memories of the programme that made famous Des Lynam's moustache, Jimmy Hill's chin and Motty's Mac*!

    *Well, sheepskin coat!

Sorry about that luv.... Hope it's a clean one if compound and not spiral and it's just a few pins etc

He'll be fine as long as

    A) not good right hand

    B) he's a footballer not a rugby player

In short all the best, chin up

Told my nephew when we were like 8 that if he jumped off the top of my slide he'd fly.

    He didn't fly.

    Instead he broke his arm.

  19. Sorry to hear that Gonzo. I'm sure you'll know I mean it when I say I know how it feels (both as the parent and the broken arm bod).

How bad is it? Obviously with him having a operation is a complete break that isn't lined up right so assume plate or pins? One or both bones?
