That's exactly my worry. We can't afford to carry any more passengers in the team, and you never know what frame of mind he will be in.
suarez is better imho but he gets suspended more. On the pitch Suarez gives 110% to win, whereas Balotelli gives 100% when he feels like it. But he's less likely to get huge suspensions.
Do you believe he can though? What are we basing this on, anyway? That Suarez didn't bite anyone for 12 months?
I get the feeling that this is not an "either/or" scenario. I feel we were in for Mario regardless of Falcao, and if we can get both then great. Imagine options of: Sturridge, Falcao, mario, Lambo...! plenty of firepower for all the competitions and injuries
It's a totally different issue with Suarez. I think Rodgers is a strong and talented man manager and can hopefully get Balotelli to 'buy in', if it happens. As my mate said. Still a lot of talking to be done.
Mario has a lower goals/min ratio than Studge, but is a pen taker, and it's Italian league. Anyone else think that if anyone can put him on a path to greatness, it's BR? Studge was a bit of an arrogant knob in no man's land before he joined us...
I agree that Rodgers seems to be a good motivator, so that could help with Balotelli. But then look at, say, Glen Johnson, where we all ask where his motivation's gone and Rodgers still picks him every week. Couldn't that happen with Balotelli as well (if it happens)? With Sturridge then presumably shifted to a wide position to accomodate him and is therefore less effective?
before tony barrett came out with it? Not a dig just wondering if your contact is faster than the broadsheet journos
