So our summer of removing the deadwood hasn't really worked so far. We got rid of Pepe for peanuts and Kelly (who I would have preferred to keep above the likes of Coates etc) and just loaned a bunch of players out again. I really hope we can get some shifted before the end of the deadline cos our squad looks a bit bloated with what will be unused ****e currently.

It's becoming an issue that we accept the bid and the players then reject the new terms. Probably as the wages aren't as good. It's a crap mentality. £7m for Assaidi and £14m for Borini, now just rotting away on our bench

Aspas ST/WF - Sturridge, Lambert, Borini, Sterling, Markovic.
Texeira AM/WF - Coutino, Allen, Lallana, Suso, Sterling, Markovic.
Alberto CM/AM - Coutinho, Allen, Lallana, Suso, Sterling, Markovic, Henderson.
Ibe WF/Am - Sterling, Markovic, Lallana, Coutinho, Suso.
Wisdom (CB, RB) on loan to. You list half the squad in his positions.
We need a striker but Aspas isnt him.
I dont think we will play 2 proper wingers ery often so Sterling and Markovic should be enough.
I'm more concerned about Suso getting enough games.
There's a lot of repetition in those lists! I feel that we're only a couple of injuries away from being in the **** tbh if we're aiming to compete in more than one competition. Unless BR is confident we will make additions before the window closes
Thats because some play multiple positions or havnt established positions yet.
I like the two teams plus some extra versatile extras approach.
