My first game for this season tomorrow and looking forward to it, the way i look at it is in recent years we haven't fared too well against Yorkshire teams(Leeds being the exception) so hopefully with 2 Yorkshire sides in a week this poor form can be rectified.
This will be close and i predict a late winner for Millwall with Gregory(the useless electrician as Chesh would say) getting off the mark and endearing himself to the locals.(he's a Blade)
Around 2002/3 season we won most of our games against Yorkshire opposition and drew a couple, if i remember rightly we played 12,won 8,drew 2 lost 2, that will do for me this year!!<cheers>

I will be starting a facebook campaign tomorrow to raise money towards Hockadays salary.....

he is only on 70k............

lets see if we kind hearted southern boys can show our appreciation for the fine job that he is doing, by digging deep into our pockets

whilst you West Yorkshire boys keep digging (come on only a few more months to go) towards your natural level

way below the Mighty Millwall

Well have to say i enjoyed the game last night and enjoyed Millwall's slick passing game from the back, tried to play like that in the past and its fallen apart after the third pass but last night everyone worked for eachother.
Sheff Wed have a well organised defence and needed it as many times they cut out what would had been a clear cut opening. The first half was pretty even with no real chances but the second half it opened up a bit, Millwall did most of the probing but to no avail and then on a Wednesday break away we gave a silly free kick away from which they scored.
After this we attacked and they defended desperately, then we got the penalty(wasn't blatant and seen them not given countless times), as we know he hit the inside of the post and they scrambled it clear, 5 minutes of injury time went up and halfway through the time we had a shot skied over the bar, 'thats it!! we've lost ' i thought and started to send the full time text to my mates that we have lost, suddenly the ball went to Fuller as usual the Wednesday defence closed him down he knocked it back to Gueye, again a Wednesday player got infront of him he shimmyed him creating space and blasted it into the net sending us 'Wall fans bonkers:1980_boogie_down:, no sooner did they restart the game the final whistle went, a well deserved draw that felt like a win.

Sounded like a good game Ringo - heard a stupid Sheff Weds fan was in the away end?

Not sure what happened there TC, they scored then suddenly a bit of a skirmish broke out to the left of me, a few good punches went in and then the stewards got involved, a few got chucked out and one looked to be one of my mates, so need to find out whether it was him and what happened.
