Poundshop!

    Went to the City centre today to check out Maplins. (I needed an optical cable for a surround sound system.) £10.99
    Was expecting some bargains, but bloody hell their cables were more expensive than PC World. :(
    So checked the Poundshop optical cable for a quid. <ok>

    Checked the books they has some canny ones if you lot are interested.

    Danny Baker & Danny Kelly's "Classic Football Debates" hardback £16.99 for a quid.
    Had a quick glance through seems pretty funny.

    Jack Dee's "Thanks for Nothing!" hardback £20 yep a quid.

    Not bad reading for a couple of quid. <ok>

    Seemed quite a few on the trolley the guy in there was loading the shelves from.

    I remember those cheeesy Kerry Katona ads for Iceland where everything was juuuuuuuuuussst a powwwwnd!... unlike her weight which was around the 250lb mark :emoticon-0140-rofl:

    MR your post got me thinking...remember Mr Red and White (Pound Shop Pundit) from the 606??

    Anybody know where he went? Is he here under another name?
