Went to the City centre today to check out Maplins. (I needed an optical cable for a surround sound system.) £10.99
Was expecting some bargains, but bloody hell their cables were more expensive than PC World.
So checked the Poundshop optical cable for a quid.

Checked the books they has some canny ones if you lot are interested.

Danny Baker & Danny Kelly's "Classic Football Debates" hardback £16.99 for a quid.
Had a quick glance through seems pretty funny.

Jack Dee's "Thanks for Nothing!" hardback £20 yep a quid.

Not bad reading for a couple of quid.
