Good after-moorning. It's Sunday so here is some smooth music from the legend called John. I hope we are all having a good weekend.
I also find this one rather relaxing... The system has failed, and you have failed with it...
Relax with tracks from Moby's excellent album 'Play'...
More relaxing music, surprisingly from Led Zeppelin, their 3rd album had some very laid-back tunes...
And one of my long-time favourites from The Strawbs...
Thanks again Sooper. I can tell you have been buisy off late, I allways look forward to your input on our music thread. Again you have a very broad musical pallet. If it went quiet on our music thread and I ended up being the only poster I would stop and let this thread fade away. I don't want this to be all about me and my musical preferences. Cheers mate.
Until I saw this on this thread I didn't realise that this was by Moby. At the moment I'm only listening to stuff that I can try and convert to my guitar or keyboard. So this one is out. However I do remember learning this excellent riff a few years ago...... I'm currently working on The Who's ' stuff and trying to work out and play this classic ....
Mr 9's. Thanks for your input Sir. How did your "somtimes I feel like throwing my hands in the air" bass line playing go in the end?
The bass line to 'Your love' by Frankie Knuckles, Candi Staton and Florence in the Machine is pretty easy and is a basic four bar pattern more or less. However, I find most solo stuff on lead guitar a bit of a struggle. But I'll get there albeit one note at a time.
Cool, I admire that 9's. I can play drums and keyboard to a reasonable standard. I did buy a second hand electric guiter (Les Paul replica) and have given up. It looks good collecting dust on my bedroom wall.lol.
Being we have had some electronic music posts at last (MOBY, very good) I though Id post this random one from the 80's Tangerine Dream.
We have the makings of a 606 band...I've been known to dabble in music and try to play guitar and bass, I'm also fairly inept at keyboard...all we need is someone unhinged as a frontman!! There must be someone on here that meets that description! Anyhew...here's something relaxing...
this is what the wife is listening to at the moment
If Nines is learning Who material a couple of their most under-rated tracks here...
