That just suggests that one loss does not make a season, just as if you win tomorrow does not mean you will win the league (or even finish above us). It was a hint of sarcasm as in, we have blown it, the title is yours
Maybe i should go on the Arsenal board for this type of post to be appreciated

Exactly. Man Utd have blown it so the title is Liverpools meaning Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, etc are worse than Man Utd too since Liverpool only have to finish above Man Utd #deluded

Funny thing is Van Gaal never looked his age before Utd. After one game in charge you can sure bet he does now and then some. Happened to Moyesy as well.

A tactical genius wouldn't have ten players out for the first game.
Or he obviously thought he could cope without them.
On a serious note, if LVG thinks that coming to Man U is the same level of task at being at Barcelona, Ajax or Bayern, in that there are only 2 or 3 other teams in the league you need to take seriously, then he might be in for a shock.
