Most of us would agree pembroke, but I think this ridiculous 'debate' kicked off again when Dragonphill deliberately mentioned Monk 'eclipsing' Laudrup in the transfer market. A preposterous statement but a little grenade calculated to provoke and sadly typical. Only a twonk like the increasingly preposterous daiswan actually believes that ****. Back on topic - yes Fernandez looks a great signing but I suspect he won't be fit for a while even if we get him.
You can always rely on noddy above to put a false slant on things, the truth be know it was the 'dragonborn' with his petulant dig at monk that kicked the debate off again: Just to get things correct girls!.......................
Haha I think we can all see the dig dear, tart! nice try though on deflecting the blame....................... please log in to view this image
And so another thread descends into the usual **** spouted by the usual suspects. Can't you lot give it a rest for at least one thread!! Banter is one thing but this is getting tedious.
Monk just said fernandez will hopefully complete his medical tomorrow and will start training Monday!! You'll have to displace Amat now!
How old is Ash now? Possibly his last season as a number 1 CB, with Bartley and Amat fighting to play alongside Fernandez in the future?
I've always really had time for Amat, I think he promises to be quite cultured. No crap with him too, seems an honest pro!! Obviously didn't run with some of the other Espanioles. Run of games alongside Ash, to get full confidence & match fitness & we'll have good cover/competition when Fernandez comes in. Bartley's certainly down the pecking order to me..
Great win for Swansea today, and well pleased for Garry Monk, Hue Jenkins knows how to pick winners, he should be a bookies nightmare.
He will have to be some player (which he no doubt is) to displace Amat the way he played yesterday. Benn away for a while is there any news on a new LB.
