Not only that Ricc but we now have a stack of players who can regularly score from long range.

Obviously 6 million is great business for us, but you're right, that's way way over the top. We actually have better players in his position that have graduated from our academy IMO.

Yeah
I read that we have an official bid of 5 million turned down by Norwich? I thought that was a fair deal for both clubs but it seems it not to be. We are still after Assaidi whom I would prefer as we know what he can do. Redmond I'm not sure. He has bags of potential but you don't pay that kind of cash for what might be.

Good luck for the season anyhow, hope you bounce back this season.<ok>

I tend to agree with your views Pottermouth. From comments that M Hughes is reported to have passed, he recognises that an out & out winger is required - it also appears that he wants Assaidi and that just maybe he's being quite tactical in the way he's trying to hook him re' his manoeuvrings with the press etc........

Just reading an article Re Liverpool and it seem's it's not Assaidi's fault that he has not signed YET! Something to do with a "Pay off" agreement with the Anfield club.

A statement read... some player's will be leaving/going out on load. We have an agreement with STOKE CITY to sign Assaidi. Seem's I amongst others was slating the player and for that I'm sorry, funny ole world eh.

Norwich and Celtic have had bids accepted for Cameron Jerome. Suprised we have had nothing in for Walters or Crouch as of yet.
