It will be interesting and I am partly relieved not to be in it again as there was little chance of getting to the next level and there was no fun being battered by the top clubs who continue to get stronger and stronger. Your performance last year was immense and will be hard to follow as you haven't spent much, just one striker really from Brighton. However you may well benefit from the continuity of the squad through team spirit, but you will need to beat the teams in your mini-league like Burnley, Villa, QPR etc. Think you will do it though, probably at the expense of these three.

Cheers buddy <ok> and good luck to you for the forthcoming season ...

Yes, the sad reality of it is you need money to survive in the Prem these days. I think it's a shame that a club that grew a squad and approached getting promotion the right way, like Norwich did, just isn't enough (maybe it may have been a different story if you kept hold of Lambert, but again that comes down to money).

Luckily we have both; owners with money and a manager who's built a young, solid team. The owners appear to trust Pearson too, it's not like they've gone against his wishes and bought and/or sold a load of "experienced" Prem players. If I was a neutral, I'd be very interested to see how we do this season, simply because we've not tried to buy survive - even though we could have.

Norwich are absolute sh1te and will be in the Championship for years. Wolves gave you a good spanking, and you're getting destroyed by Deeney & Vydra at the weekend.
We'll never play you again <ok>

Yes, fair comment to all of your post. Think you might need to reinforce to a degree but the board's backing of Pearson is to be admired. The Lambert saga was painful, particularly as it's all gone pear shaped at Villa.

we will definitely need to strengthen before the end of the month when the transfer window slams shut. Hopefully the Cambiasso deal can be completed and I expect us to get either the Algerian, Slimani or Deeney. We really need a couple of defenders, especially a left back. Konchesky is going to get destroyed by many teams

Wotcha Foxes! Long time no..................post!

Who do I think'll go down? I don't know but I reckon Palace have just committed footballing suicide so I think they're fu*ked. I think this will be only the third time in PL history where all 3 promoted sides stay up. I feel all 3 of us will do it.

Anyway, just wanted to come on before the season starts to wish you the best of luck fellas <ok>

PS Thurnby, any chance you could ask Dave if he'd lift my ban now? Its been nearly 3 feckin' years man! Ask him to gimme a break will ya?

Nice one :)

QPR have Austin and Remy
Burnley have Danny Ings
Leicester don't have a stand out forward who looks like he will score goals on a consistent basis in this league. Goals are what keep you up in this league and Leicester look awfully shy on that front.

I'm honestly not wumming so try not to shoot me down about this, it's an honest point of view from a neutral. You may well prove me wrong though <ok>

Nugent, Vardy, Ulloa and Wood scored 63 goals between them last season. But we're gloss over that I'm sure
