Like the look of that Buck, but is Sharp match fit? If so, great. If not, Smith will start and Sharp will be on the bench to get 20mins in the 2nd half.

Sharp said in his interview he has not missed a session or game in pre season, scored 2 in Southampton`s last friendly against QPR I think he said so should be fine to start mate <ok>

I think Sharp will start, thats why he has been brought in and an immediate reaction to Millwall I think.

Also it just disgusts me that we could've had Agard for free and we waited for him to renew his contract at Rotherham AFTER he said he wanted to sign a contract with Leeds but we seemingly weren't interested.

How long ago did he sign that Josh as a matter of interest?

Works for me Bucks. Also helps to push Morison & Hunt closer to an exit. Pity about Morison, as I think he might benefit from the style of footy we're now playing. But Hunt's days are seriously numbered, especialy if Sharp's arrival puts both Smith and Poleon on the bench.

I have stated this man MC is a winner he will get us to the promised land and I still believe we will be in the top 6 this season
Fulham will do nothing with Ross Sharp will score more than him that's my honest opinion.
The only drawback is my reservation on the Hock if he cant see that Hunt his useless god help us!

Good morning to Matt and co from a hazy Cote de Bardsey
I didn't realize Matt that we had actually agreed a fee for Agard I think this will be financed by Byrams sale I expect that for later next week as Berardi will be suspended for the next 2 games at least
Will probably need another right back to cover Sam hence Hock said a couple of signings
My team for tomorrow
Silvestri
Taylor cooper pearce byram
Agard Bianci Doukara alose
Sharp and Smith

I know u rate smith but impact player only one dimension

Maybe it's the cynical Leeds fan in me but I can't believe that, if he was on a free, one of the Forrests, Derbys, Fulhams (they like attackers) etc wouldn't go in for him. It just seems strange :/

I don't think he was ever available on a free. His contract came to an end at the end of last season but Rotherham exercised a clause in his contract to extend it by one year. Maybe that put a few clubs off enquiring. But apparently Agard turned down Rotherham's offer to extend the contract even further and started talking about wanting to come to Leeds etc. Cellino did scout him personally last season I think.

Now listen son I will say this only once Smith brings a different dimension to the table .Defences are frightened of him and his height. He also will act as a foil for Sharp to get in behind the defences no one else can do this so I totally disagree with my son on this one sorry Stevie wonder are you interested by the way in meeting up on 13 dec
Dad

Morning all <ok>

A couple of decent looking lineups being floated around here, I'm just finally writing the boro match thread so will have to come up with mine for there but it isn't going to be easy!

I can't see anywhere that Hunt fits into the squad now let alone the XI, so will be very interested to see if he is anywhere near on Saturday.

just checked he signed a new 1 year contract on the 27th of July

Josh, my understanding was that he was out of contract this summer but Rotherham had the option for a 1 year extension which they obviously exercised. They tried to negotiate a longer deal but agard turned them down... Which is what alerted people to his availability and set the rumour mill going.

So he was never really out of contract this summer. Just my interpretation of what I read. Did he do a u turn and sign a one year deal afterwards or was that date of the 27th of July just the extension date exercised by the club?

Just seen this on Twatter ;

Your man @seantaylorpress was spot on - Leeds and Rotherham have agreed a fee for Kieran Agard. #lufc
