OK so thats 7 out if you include Billy and Dani and 7 in. At the end of last season we all agreed the squad needed strengthening but with all the movements what more do you think we need and in what positions?

Assuming no one else leaves for me its some LB cover for Clyne, another CB and another striker.

Definitely CB and winger. Maya and Hooiveld are far too close to the team, and Isgrove should really not be starting in the PL just yet.
 
I like to think Long won't be played up top, and will do a Jay Rod, so I want another striker. Not gonna happen though.
 
A striker-come-attacking-midfielder for the bench. Have a bit of height, be brazilian with some experience of playing in Italy.
 
A Centre back capable of filling in at full back would be nice.

Definitely another winger as i'm not sure Isgrove will be able to make an impact, so if Tadic is absent we have someone capable of making a difference.
 
Baring in mind Billy and Danny had not featured last season, or in Dani's case not very much. We have more or less got two extra players already. Albeit one of those was a goalkeeper. So I would agree that field depth is still our weakness I am surprised that Gallagher hasn't featured more in pre season, also what about Mayuka? If RK doesn't feel that either are going to break through this year then as others have said we will need another Striker. Is the young lad Stephens is it that plays centre half about to break through....? (the one that went to Swindon on loan). If not then yes another Centre half? Cover for Clyne......Cork can do that for us but....is he off? In which case another right back. I make that a minimum of three, however the local rumour is another two.
Anyone any ideas as to whom they will be?
 
I think the left is covered, presuming RK starts Long on the left side of the front three (Pelle centre, Tadic right) Isgrove will cover. When J-rod is fit we'll have him and Long who can also play left or central roles. We need better CB cover and a winger who can cover right back
 
What do we need. A couple if weeks of pre- season to get this squad together! I'm generally happy with the signings and hope we keep Jack Cork. But the Anfield game is a bit early.
 
I think we need 2, A rock at the back and a selfish bastard up front who knows where the net is. But then there's 20 teams in the prem looking for the same.

A centre back (van dijk would be my choice) and a versatile attacker...think thomas mulleresque, can sit on the wing or centre and even go upfront if need be.

Yeah, he'd do nicely. I think even Joe might be satisfied if we bought him. That would be up there with Kevin Keegan.
