Mail and Echo reporting he's off to Palace for £3m. Surely we cant let him and Morgan go. Come on Ron we need Jack here!
I like Cork, but we've now had 2 managers who don't rate him enough. Perhaps it's fairer to let him go if he is not going to get much game time.
Cork's an important squad player and quite why we'd sell him to a team we're most likely be competing for position with is beyond me.
I sort of see this as a good thing. If we're letting Cork move on, then we must be very confident of keeping Schneiderlin.
If we want squad depth he should stay...but does he want to stay? It could be a mutual parting or the club taking £3mio for a player who is in his final year?
JWP has been picked ahead of Cork in pre-season. Like the choice or not JWP/Morgan/Victor & Taider will compete for two of the midfield berths. I guess it's better to have money now than let him go on a free
We have way too many cm's. He would have got the odd game which at his age he wants more. Then add him only having a year left on his contract. He hasn't given us any hope he would sign a new deal, so you can see why we are cashing in.
For me it comes down to one simple thing. I don't trust Morgan anymore. I do trust Jack. At least we can say we helped Palace stay up with some bargain prices, be proud.
Judging by how his dad's been acting, it's not hard to imagine that Jack has had a similar attitude. If he's not happy here he should go.
Are you f**ing kidding me? 3 million? I can't believe what I'm reading. So we have to rely on kids or Wanyama, who time and time again gives away possession or fouls? And we've already lost a right back, and JC can fill in there no problem. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Yes, well, I think we're all learning that even when Krueger makes a statement which sounds definitive, it's still of little worth.
