As someone said, if our board are asset stripping, they are very bad at it. We are certainly getting depth which we needed...just up to Ron to mould them into a team by Sunday.
I have a feeling that this weekend will come a bit too soon. If it ends in defeat it will seem worse because of the relationship we've had with Liverpool over the last couple of months but on the face of it, we have so many new players all playing together for the first time so it might take a while to gel properly. Just looking at the fixtures, we have two very winnable games after Liverpool and our battle will untimately not be with Liverpool come the end of the season. I'm really excited now, if a little nervous, for Sunday.
I still think we'll do okay, despite being pessimistic about a lot of our signings. Top half is not out of reach at all for us.
Fair point but I think that we are more so. A new goal keeper and three new defenders compared to Liverpool with possibly only Lovren slotting in.
To be fair they'll have a new back line too to bed in. I can see A four of manquillo skrtle lovren and Moreno. So its not all bad for us. Glad they sold suarez though
Damn right. It remains to be seen how Liverpool stack up against everybody else without him in the side. Remember last time we played Liverpool without Suarez we won
If we lose at Anfield there is no shame in that...not many sides will beat them at home. Of course I'd love us to win and will be disappointed if we don't, that's just me...I hate losing!
I thought Manquillo covered right-back? At least, he was there with Glen Johnson at left-back the other day - unless my eyes deceived me.

Gardos has just given a brief interview with www.fanatik.ro. He said: "Right now, I can say that I have signed. I can talk more after this happens. Wait a moment please!"
