5 million pound profit in 6 months is just too good to turn down. Every player has a price and I'm sure the club don't want to sell him but they would be crazy to turn down that money, it would make no business sense. I'm sure Bruce has players in mind for every position just in case something like this happened.

As for a replacement, what about Ibisevic from Stuttgart? Scored against us at the weekend and scored a hatful for Bosnia during World Cup qualification. Wouldn't cost a huge amount I wouldn't have thought. Plus he missed a penalty so would fit right in with out team!

Buckingham saying that Long isn't unsettled and isn't sure there's a deal/move in place. He's saying waiting for either club to comment.
