It was fantastic Dan.

The Atlantis restaurant at The Mariner Hotel.

Starter - seared scallops on haggis with a whisky sauce.

Main - Grilled Halibut on a beetroot and raspberry base.

Cheeseboard to finish, don't like sweet stuff.

And it is a beautiful building inside and out.

Cracking meal by the sounds of it. Can't beat decent fish dishes.

Wrong.

Aberdeen is multicultural mainly because of the Oil Industry and two of the best Universities in the UK.

My sister stays in Glasgow, my brother stays in Sweden and all three of us were born in England so you are way wide of the mark.

Plus the fact I am a non national and am a man of the Earth.

You and ST should meet up and compare your failings.

Pish. My mum's Aberdonian (hence my doric typing is so accurate) and half my family still live there - I know it better than anywhere on Earth other than the West Central Metropolis.

Nearly everyone is white, chippies (chippers etc) don't even have Italian names.

From the Scottish Office

Between 2001 and 2011, the largest numerical increase in the non-UK born population took place in Glasgow City (39,917 additional residents), but the highest percentage increase occurred in Aberdeen City (167.2% increase).

That 167% increase was a family of Norwegians, a lost Dutch guy and ten Nigerian students <ok>
