Worth a consideration But will the game get switched to Brussels ? We need confirmation of the venue which for me puts a question mark over flying. Car is hassle free. Yes. You have more chance of getting on the ferry with 2 couples in the car. Dont show any club colours either. Maybe for you. I get 2 discounted return trips a year on PO/NSF and i may stay an extra night in Belgium as our weekend game is not until sunday. Get the saturday night ferry back and arrive Hull sunday 24th in time for Stoke. Sorted if i do it this way. A very good and valid point. Plus fill up with cheap fuel as well. I have no wish to drive down to Dover and back again. The fuel cost alone jacks up the price.
But at least the police are politie ... wonder how that vid got uploaded to youtube , looks like official footage ?
It's a ****ing shambles if they really don't allow football fans on the ferry. I wonder how many other minority groups they can get away with doing that to? Is it any less unfair than an airline banning all muslims on the grounds there might eventually be one who's a suicide bomber?
I have just worked out that I can do the whole trip for £200.00 each for two of us. Not including match tickets. Plenty of hotels in Brussels and trains are cheaper than here.
Hi Tigers, Great draw for you guys and us aswell. Nearby and relatively cheap to make the trip to Lokeren/Hull. Our stadium has been renovated to fit the standards to play in this stage of the Europa League since the beginning of this season. If you don't get a ticket you can always watch the game in a local bar in the city center (15 min walk from the stadium). I would recommend staying in Ghent (20min drive), Antwerp (35min drive) or Lokeren. Like already mentioned above: It's Belgium....everything is nearby. Cheers
Hi mate, it's good for you guys that you have improved your stadium but pretty awful for us as it means we will probably only get about 600 tickets for the fixture when there will maybe be about 2000 people that would want to come over. A lot of fans will be disappointed
Anybody know what the train connections are like from the available airports (Brussels - including Ryan Air's drop off airport, Amsterdam etc.) through to their local station and back for a trip in one day?
Wrong. Plenty of people are on it. Also Ferry to/from Rotterdam is just as convenient for Lokeren. What's all this MCR to Brussels **** or driving down to Calais?
It wasn't wrong, P&O just took it off their booking site while they decided how much to bunce the prices. Not everyone wants to spend a night on a boat travelling, some prefer more direct travel.
Apparently these ferries carry 1000 passengers. Most of which will be the usual holiday makers, so I doubt there will be a ban on having fun.
