Steaua Bucharest's chairman has confirmed the Gardos to Southampton talk, and has said he can go after their Champions League play-off.

It could happen beforehand, but they're less willing to let that happen.
 
Man, if these clubs hold their ground then we're going to be doing a lot of work in the last couple of days of the window. The dangers of going for players from ****ty CL teams, I suppose.
 
I know absolutely nothing about this dude, though. Never even heard of him. I've decided I'm going to keep it that way. I'm not going to wiki him up or follow this thread to see how he's doing.

Just going to tune in on the first matchday and maybe he's there or maybe not. And if he's playing, it'll be a fun surprise to see how he does. If he's horrible at least it will be amusing. For one game, anyway.

I know k billy is reliable on Saints web, but is this a done deal. Medical & personal terms done yesterday and the suggestion that this guy is a stand by was just a theory and the truth is we've agreed to complete after champions league qualification?
