For the very brief time he was with us, he won more than at Anfield.

Not true.

Man U: 1 league cup, 1 community shield, 1 league title. Total: 3 honours

Liverpool: 2 league cups, 1 community shield, 1 FA Cup, 1 UEFA Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup. Total: 6 honours

He won more league titles than he did at Anfield.

Oh so community shields and super cups count now?

So united are more successful? Good to know.

Yet you botg fell into another trap :bandit:

Not really, take the charity shields etc away if you like:

Man U: 1 league cup, 1 league title. Total: 2 honours

Liverpool: 2 league cups, 1 FA Cup, 1 UEFA Cup, Total: 4 honours

It's still double the amount at Liverpool :p

PS...I wouldn't have counted the community shield etc myself mind but each their own <ok>

PPS...nice of bonnet to admit Liverpool have won more ignoring charity shields and super cups too :p #trap

Depends whether they count friendly competitions.

Amd nobody counts the uefa cup.

But you would count the league cup?

There's no doubting the league is the most prestigious prize on the list, so from a value perspective, you could try to make a (subjective) argument that he won more at Man U. But in terms of numbers, he won more at Liverpool. He was also there longer, of course.

that's just Man Utd fans, much like counting league titles pre-1992

No its everyone. Anything teams actively try to fail in shouldnt be held in high regard.

Still a trophy i guess. Emirates cup, international champions cup, Amsterdam trophy, intertoto cup....

I thought we have to get back to pre betamax days with Liverpools trophys. But back in the good old days, Huddersfield were pretty successful, but you don't get then on here bragging

Let me guess then, only league titles and CL wins count right?

They're not the most successful English club of all time either :)

The fa cup does too. The rest are insignigicant to clubs like ours.

It just so happens to mean Man Utd have then won more too right? <laugh>

PS...The UEFA Cup / Europa League is more valuable and harder to win than the FA Cup BTW #uirlogic
