If we are to announce a player tomorrow im hoping its a Winger or a CB. preferably the latter..

I'd all but guarantee that the wages of the players departing equal or exceed those of the players coming in. Lallana, Lambert and Lovren were, I believe, our three highest-paid players, though Osvaldo might've been in that mix. Shaw had gotten a couple of improved deals, and thus was making a fair wedge himself.

I think Forster will go in at Lallana level, if we had got Rojo and de Vrij they would have been up there or higher too. Maybe the club are coming to the realisation that we need to pay a bit more? Can't judge how much we are going to pay incoming transfers purely off what we are paying Tadic and Pelle.

I don't think that there's much if any chance that Forster would end up on 60k p/w, which is more or less what Lallana was receiving, I believe. Our wage bill will almost assuredly be lower this season than last.

Chadli's a good player, I'd definitely take him. That would be a winger I'd be happy with. I just don't want Morgan going to Spurs, at all.

I'm not too sold on Chadli, didn't seem great this season. I'd still want 20m at a minimum even with him in.

Was Chadli at FC Twente the same time as Tadic? Could have some good chemistry between the two of them upfront.
