Funny to see some of the comments above. Only transfer I haven't known about in last 3-5 years was Chambers because of an oversight. Now I'm unreliable.

If I'm informed of targets in advance of talks and those talks fail, or get dragged out, my info doesn't become 'bad', it means the move hasn't completed in the timescale hoped for.

So answering as much as i can...

Osvaldo frees up another space, so 5-6 instead of 4-5. Only 1 of the loans is, t'other is a recent addition to targets.

Outfield players - Many of our targets are very exciting. Whether any will come is another matter. Same goes for money spent. Everybody at the club knows how soon the season starts, but do not want to spend money for the sake of it.

Separate from the above, is my personal opinion that unless we can make a marquee signing soon (and Vlarr doens't count IMO), we will have to get as high as possible, and hope to improve before Morgan goes (as long as he hasn't made it impossible to stay before the season begins).

In total, 70m more than we have with our latest transfers. However, that includes signing on fees and wages, as well as transfer fees. I know that number has been bandied about, but not sure if the fact that it had to pay for everything was known to all. 1 of our incoming transfers is seen as an improving squad player, the other first team. I know it's an open secret anyway, but I said i wouldn't state names. Pointless, if you ask me! And no, they weren't our first choice.

Let's just hope that our latest outgoing doesn't waste too much time adjusting his specs, and we can get these over the line.

We're only a cb and a winger away from a decent starting line up. Add a top striker and I will feel pretty confident! Not bothered about Morgan. He is not in a weaK position for saints.
 
To be fair to Guan, he did say on Friday that we're tying up a deal or two over the weekend but the signing won't be announced until Monday.

He said the only reason it'd break earlier than that is if the press got wind of it. Which is interesting.

If that's the case, it's not one of the Inter lads then..! I forgot he said that to be honest, so I wonder who he means....

The fact he says they weren't our first choice makes Rojo seem unlikely, but maybe De Vrij was our main target for CB

I think Beefy meant 4 in the near future, not 4 in total
