Nass you're talking in riddles again: "Fear Smarts horse mind" - reminds me of "Nuts, screws, washers and bolts"
cheers lads,,, Nass cant find Adrian Masseys web site that shows draw bias saw what you had said to don. we drawn 10, just hope its a sunny day, meet some new friends and old ones and get loads of tips to pass on (oh and a place would be great)
Looks a nice prospect. I expected Hanagan to get a bit more out of the 2nd than on previous runs and I think he did that, so it was a nice performance from Hot Sugar, especially the last 100 yards
Well done Nass and Dan, looking forward to meeting up on Wednesday Dan hopefully my form (luck) hasnt ran out after the last few days of big priced winners and places and I can carry it on through to Wednesday
Adrian Massey has stopped updating his site, but as for Catterick there are different patterns emerging depending on the going. Overall low is favoured but if you look at the ground conditions, when it is good or better the advantage is very significant with twice as many horses drawn low as high winning. When the ground is soft it is thought that the stands side at Catterick is quicker and this would explain why their are more high drawn winners than low ones when it is soft. Conclusion - Good or better low best, Soft or worse high best.
