Suarez's stupidity was a result of being a bad loser. Balotelli's just a thick lazy twat

If Balotelli is ready to grow up then it would be a good signing, but judging by all of his performances against Liverpool, he is a disaster waiting to happen

The odds on Rues to Liverpool have been slashed after a run of bets today?

Let's hope :-)

Meh, can't see it happening. Would love it to be true, him and Moreno would finish the transfer window off nicely.

Bad news?

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has spoken of his admiration for AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli as Liverpool continue their pre-season tour of America.

The Reds play Balotelli’s Milan tonight in their latest fixture and Rodgers has used his press conference to praise the Italian striker.

Balotelli, who has been linked with a Liverpool move before, has endured a tough time in Italy since his return from Manchester City and despite a healthy goalscoring record, he has been regularly criticised for scoring too few goals from open play and not contributing enough to the team’s play.

It had been hoped that the appointment of Milan legend Pippo Inzaghi would spark Balotelli to get back to his best but recently the striker has been highly critical of the new manager’s training methods.

Rodgers however said that he admired the qualities that Balotelli possesses, triggering internet rumours of a possible move to Anfield.

“Balotelli has all the qualities [I like],” Rodgers said.

“He’s 6’3”, he’s quick, his touch is terrific, he can score goals and he’s still so young.

“I saw that in this time at Inter as a young player and obviously going to Manchester City when we had a real close eye on him there.

“He’s a big talent.”

Last season Liverpool finished second in the Premier League but following the sale of Luis Suarez and the failure to sign Loic Remy they are looking a little short up front.

FANCY A STAT? OH ALRIGHT THEN.

Mario Balotelli scored 12 goals in 13 appearances during his debut season with AC Milan.

Wouldn't want to pay more than we were going to pay for Remy. Don't forget, we just let one head case go, albeit a world-class head case. Balotteli is NOT world class.

Think that is what started the whole Balotelli debate earlier <ok>

We'd have an awesome penalty line up though.

Lambert, Gerrard, Balotelli...

Can add Lucas to that now :bandit:

The only concern that I'd have is his effect on the rest of the squad with his attitude. Balotelli, the player, at the reported £12m (approx) is no risk at all. He's surely worth that. He may not be in the same league as Suarez but he's a £20m plus player without his baggage.....question is, has he/will he ever grow up?
