  2. 2-0 at first drinks break.
Good goals by Kane and Soldado. Holtby looking really top quality again.

You've got a far better team. You should go on to win this 4/5-0. Derby just beat Rangers 2-0, even though Rangers would probably still challenge Celtic if they were currently in the top echelon of Scotch footy.

  4. 2-1 - poor goal defensively - Naughton went missing at back post - as per usual.

  5. 3-1 Holtby - lovely move and calm finish!!

  6. HT 3-1
Decent performance so far against an under strength Celtic.
Holtby excellent, Townsend lively and less selfish than normal, Capoue and Kaboul very strong and Ben Davies slotting in well. Daws injured and replaced by Friars mid-half. Limped off.

Our youth team has a friendly against Dagenham & Redbridge that kicked off at 3pm. Still 0-0.
Ceballos and Carroll feature, as do some of our bigger name kids, like Onomah and Coulibaly, though the latter's on the bench.

Spurs XI is 1-0 up against D&R at HT. Obika scored from the rebound after Ceballos had a shot saved.

Looks like we're going to go into the season with very minimal time on the pitch for a number of our better players.
Neither of our first two keepers has played yet, Walker and most of our World Cup players missed today's game and both Sandro and Chiriches haven't had a minute.
    Not ideal.

In Sandro and Chriches cases do you think that the likelihood is that they are moving on so game time is of no importance?

Hard to tell, as they've both supposedly been out for other reasons. Sandro was ill and Chiriches was injured.

As Croydon just pointed out though, Sandro's just come on.
Both have been linked with moves, but journalists often do that with people who aren't playing, especially at this time of the season.

Both missed the US tour, Chiriches with a back injury, Sandro with a virus. Naturally this means TRANSFERZ~

Spurs XI are 2-1 up against D&G. Ceballos with our second, then they pulled one back.

That was at least six yards further out than Lineker ever scored from!
