I'm happy to be going. It's more than a friendly and the chance to see the Bale, Ronaldo and Rodriguez front line is very exciting. James Rodriguez scored the goal of the tournament at the world cup the only other time I've seen him play live Hopefully we'll get some sort of similar brilliance from one of the many superstars involved.
Day light robbery and taking the fans for yet another ride.....serves your right if you want to waste your money
Do you actually have a clue Dai? You've been a Swansea fan for many years. How much money have you wasted on them? Seeing your comments on another thread, have you taken your Ritalin today?
football for fans is ****ed. Its nothing but a massive rip off that i will never be a part of again. I will have a couple more holidays instead and that sounds great to me.....Football has gone beyond the point now of not being worth our hard earned money to support multi millionaires who could not give a toss about any fan as he kicks a bag of wind for 90 minutes and you the gullible fans pay for the privilege....I shall watch the swans on the web with my money safely tucked away in my pocket...
And I'll continue to work hard and spend my money on whatever I want. As usual you are derailing a thread. Same price as the rugby. I know which I think offers better value. I'm glad you're not coming Dai, you never know I could have ended up sat by you
Yep rather that than enabling super rich players get richer...money will stay firmly in my pocket now and i still get to watch the games...happy days...
It may be overpriced - they may be overpaid - but am addicted! Paid £425 for my season ticket - for 19 home games - to me that is a bloody bargain! Have always been a football addict; supported the egg chasers as well but it just isn't the same - there is no feeling like the buzz you get when the ball hits the back of the net!! You will miss that feeling Dai - watching on TV or internet just isn't the same, and holidays are well overrated! Give me a home game against Utd and you can keep the Costa Del Rippoff! If the sun is shining Wales's beaches beats the costa's hands down every time! Think our cousins from Cardiff will be of the same opinion - and they gonna have more games to watch this season than we will! Ain't nothing like supporting your football club - it is the best 'legal' high there is! Who cares if 'super rich' players get richer - would rather watch that than bum about on a beach, can do that any day of the week!
I can understand Dai's sentiments, but I just pick and choose my games, that way I get the best of both worlds, didn't miss any games last season home or away, though I'll gladly admit to watching the Swans on my 'Smart TV' with feeds from abroad, I'm always happy to break up the Premier league-Sky cartel!............
