Sky reporter Amy Lewis made a mistake with Rickys name. She called him Ricky van Wolfsphincter. Found it on NewsNow Norwich page.

I'll bet he was called much worse by sections of the yellow army at various points last season - especially "that" pass to the invisible man when well placed
Me too, it was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen on a football pitch. Having heard the (as yet unfounded) rumours about he and Snodgrass not getting on (that I was totally unaware of until this summer) I wonder if that has something to do with why he didn't make the easy pass? If so then shame on him, that could have cost us our place in the top flight.
We had a lot of "invisible men" at times last season Cromer. Hopefully that won't be the case this coming term ...........
Who was it that first mentioned it? I also was totally unaware of the rumours until it was mentioned on here. It's eery how often that hat fits now that it's in my mind, and especially with so much of our attacking play going through Snodgrass while RvW was rarely getting the ball. Is it true that they rarely exchanged passes? I guess it would need access to some comprehensive stats. Utterly bizarre. I guess we'll never know. For me, I don't believe it was actively deliberate - I don't know about you but when I play football, it's actually very difficult to make a decision not to pass to a certain person, because invariably there's only one option. It could well be subconscious though. Also, the position he passed it to is a very standard place to expect support. His reaction did not make it look like it was deliberate. I'm not convinced Snodgrass would have scored, so perhaps it makes no difference, but it really is the story of that guy's entire season in one-second of unmitigated crap
Are you being serious? Definitely not something that was anything other than accidental, regardless of who he did or didnt get on with in the dressing room. He clearly wanted the ground to open up...not sure what the motivation for doing that on purpose would be?
