Yep. I was told earlier we are doing everything to keep him. This was what the meeting was about, this is his response.
He will probably be sold in January...he has to just suck it up and play earn his wage impress a new employer in the meantime. Just a quick question Beefy, did he have this 1hr meeting before or after Ralph's announcement ?
Morgan was told over the weekend, by Ronald - that himself, Ralph and Les had decided he cannot go. Today, Saints went public with their policy. Then Morgan went to the stadium with two representatives and demanded a transfer. Les and Ralph both said "no". He then left the stadium and posted said tweet.
Let's stay calm. An outburst from a young man who didn't get his way. Full marks to the club for growing a pair. Morgan will come round eventually
No they couldn't. Apparently you can't stop players from leaving, except at those times when you can.
Chambers was less key to them I guess. Les and Koeman didn't mind collecting good money for a squad player. Morgan is vastly more important I'm sure.
Ha. **** you Pochettino (not Morgan). Pochettino is to blame for this. He obviously wanted Morgan and Rodriguez to go with him and unsettled them.
Does that mean we will have a stroppy player on our hands who won't bother and being part of the team. Surely the other players cant like that!.
Academy product, surely key in the future if not now (I personally prefer him to Clyne). Those are the ones I'd be most reluctant to sell.
Ah well, feared as much. Difficult to keep players on side when you sell so many. I don't agree with his rant, but he is probably thinking, 'why am I the one who doesn't get a move?'
Kreuger said that if we hadn't got the price we wanted for Adam et al they would have been told no...so you can say no. Be interesting to see if Morgan has any other recourse.
