Not very professional at all though. I have to say I thought he'd knuckle down and get on with it. He needs to man the **** up and play for the team who pay his wages.
Must be terrible to be paid good money to play a game you love...he's been told he's staying...better to just shut up.
Wow, I'm amazed they've let him out of his box. I hope what he says is true obviously, but last time he said positive things it fell apart the next day. Definitely agree with him that 1st of September is judgement day, although I really hope everything's done before then.
Seriously, why do we have a team full of ****ing bell ends? We need Morgan more than ever right now yet he has decided to take to social media to express a desire to leave.
Not really...everyone will turn on Morgan now. Hardly going to get sympathy is he from people who don't earn a fraction of what he does.
Sorry but I'm convinced Morgan will be gone come the end of the window. Ralph has come out and said the stall is now closed, I'm sure the doors will be open again once we've signed a few. What happened to the theory if a player is not happy and wants to leave we have to let him go. He's been sold the same line as us, be patient.
Yup, posted the above, refreshed, and saw the tweet. Kreuger has the Midas touch - every player he talks about turns to gold...
Kreuger also said there had to be a tipping point where we couldn't let players go. Morgan was on the wrong side (for him). Should be ashamed.
If you listen carefully to the Solent interview Ralph explains that his Spurs contact was about a football related commercial item, nothing to do with players, just emphasises what was said about him looking for Saints related business opportunities in the States and elsewhere.
I agree that it's not very professional, but one wonders whether they had let Morgan know that they would sell...and the interview was the first he'd heard differently.
To come out with a comment like that, openly on social media, is nothing short of disgraceful. I thought he was acting with dignity and would knuckle down possibly with the promise of being sold next summer. But no, toys flying out of prams. Not happy with you Morgan. Very unprofessional.
Gotta agree with Ralphy: to progress we needed to clear out our average players and replace them to 2 just as good if not better. If we got offered stupid money by stupid clubs - job done. Rickie - how many times did I hear "well not his best game - seems to be carrying an injury - but we love him" Adam - had a brilliant 15 minute spell in the first half - didn't see him in the second half Dejan - solid but injured a lot Calum - not actually as good as Nat Luke - steady - never scored a goal - injured/ill a lot So now that's enough gone - we have £100m to spend - we've kept the best Just need to replace them with 2 better - easy!
