I agree with you, and would think players would be drawn to him, but we're still waiting. If he's not given the money then their clubs won't give them the option to come. £3.5 bid for Forster is very low. Can't see them paying €20m for Rojo if that's the asking price. It's a massive problem if we won't spend say, 2/3s of the incoming funds, especially when other clubs think we have deep pockets. I hope to be proved wrong, but until we sign someone (I know DLTW says some deals are close), we just won't know.
Many on here are going to protest by staying away from St Mary's. Not that they went much during the "Cortese love-in dream times, greatest period of the club ever ever ever" anyway.
I cant remember a team ever losing their entire 1st team in one transfer window unless they were going into administration
Doesn't take much detective work to spot which forum users never ever actually talk about football games that Southampton FC player, or if they do, it tends to be at the exact same time the game is being played.
I'm pretty sure we all analyse our games for days after they happen, so how can you tell the difference between those who were there and those who saw it on TV? Sure, some of them were posting while the game was on, but that just says these are people without season tickets. Should we all have season tickets to be good supporters in your book? Perhaps we young, heavily-indebted students and recent graduates with low-paying jobs should sell all our possessions so we can be good supporters in the eyes of CBK.
Sadly true. My boycott of the 2 games a year I attend would not have the financial or attention grabbing impact I may wish. But I am thinking really hard about continuing to watch live games on dodgy streams this season. That'll teach 'em.
People said they'd protest when Adkins was sacked, it's all a load of bollocks and in my opinion not the right thing to do anyway.
I just love the bit where they are in the cinema protesting "Dorty filthy beggars!" and Michael Cocheese accuses them of making "a fierce racket" and Ted shouts Boo! playfully after he turns round so Michael Cocheese turns back round and says "Now you!" One of my favourite Ted moments
Well, I'm working right now (multitasking is a thing) so that one day I might buy that golden ticket and make you proud. So, what are you doing on here in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon?
