I think that the Maynard nut is hard to crack, CMS's intentions are clear that he wants to move, whereas there is still no word from Maynard himself. Atm, we are going for the more likely choice to succeed. I'd hope we are in for both tho, with a view to losing the race on one of them.
I think you should be asking that question to West Ham too As for Maynard, I don't think we'll give up on him and I sincerely hope not. We finally have the money to get a proven Championship goalscorer to lead the line - I think only having a League 1 proven goalscorer would be a risk.
