Nope, just a **** load of luck. For CSKA I had £50M to spend and the foundation to build the best team in the world. So I did
Livorno was more, sit back, defend, and get them on the counter attack, and it worked greatly, signed a few decent players and some cover and just continued to do that for my two seasons. Napoli is more of the same, except I have £17M to spend so I can actually sign some decent players. Played 5 so far and won 4 lost against Inter 3-0 so doing pretty well so far. We'll win the league yet!

I just don't like the tall players! Prefer the small zippy ones, that's why I decided to buy Eto'o at CSKA

Took Falcao and Akinfeev to Zenit St Petersburg. Easiest season ever.

Slightly-Defensive 4-5-1 on Legendary for me.
Legendary.
4-4-2 diamond formation for the midfield. Based of Chelsea's formation from Fifa 10. It works brilliantly for me. I'm defensive and use the two fast strikers to sprint down the field on the counter attack a nick a nasty quick goal or late goal for the win. I've yet to play the long ball

Small zippy ones can get eaten alive though mate. I prefer ones with strength and pace. Imbravimovic actually has like 84 sprint speed lol.
Always rely on counter attacks myself, so I always make sure I get a few nippy wingers. Walcott and Ashley Young are my first signings virtually every time, purely because of their pace.

FIFA manager mode is just too easy it's boring. Your players grow too much and too fast, the matches are too easy, transfers are too cheap compared to your given budget, and you can buy players far above your level. I only used the career mode this year to get some achievements and accomplishments.
I started playing it for hours on end, every day when it first came out. I normally played on World Class, but then played a friendly as Wolves and was 4-0 up after 15 minutes on Legendary. I had to take a break for a month.
