According to varying reports, Morisson was crap today, no great surprise you may say. However what the hell does it achieve when a section of our supposed great 1700 travelling fans give him stick in a pre season friendly. What will this achieve exactly. We've few enough players at the club but he doesn't deserve to carry the can for a lot of the rubbish that's gone before. To be honest, I'd far prefer if a section of they 1700 stayed at home if that's what we can expect
Hopefully they force the overpaid sack of ****e to request a move (taking Hunt with him). Then Cellino realises that talk is cheap and it's now time to show some intent and buy some fooker we can get behind (preferably English).
I agree but there is a time and a place for that abuse. He has two and a half years of his contract remaining and we may have to find a use for him for that period, not to mention the 1m a year wages. Getting on his back now is of no benefited to him or the club. Don't forget nobody else will want him. Even the ****in wallies don't want him back
On one level, giving Morison such abuse could be justified. But wtf is the Hock doing playing Morison as virtually a LW? Whatever else Morison might be, a LW he ain't. At least give him a chance to play off Smith to show what he can do. Not a great day, but at least we've replaced Ross's penalty taking with Rudy. So not all bad. Also, the right side of defence seems sorted. Byram can play RM with the new guy at RB. So all the Hock has to do is agree who the CB pairing should be. Sounded grim. So needs sorting soon
No, agreed, it won't help, but boy, it feels good to let rip when you're paying someone's wages to do a job & they can't do the basics. Eire, if you had a joiner work for you that didn't know what a saw was - even when you've told him for the 10th time that day - would you pat him on the back & say 'there's a good chap'? I somehow doubt it. These guys are not even doing the basics & deserve all the derision they get!
At 20k a week well have to find a better use for him. I've a feeling Cellino will come up with a way of eliminating him from the squad/payroll
I think we all know by now how poor Morison is as a striker, but he's even worse on the wing. The fans who were there have every right to criticise the useless ****s, but bit harsh on Morison as he's clearly not a winger. What I do find baffling was the fact our fans were chanting for McDermott, who was every bit as clueless as Hockaday.
Didn't he say last season while out on loan that there is no way he would return to Leeds or was that someone else?
So Cellino looks at this result, he see's the coach stating he is going to start with his best 11 and then leaves all Cellino's signings on the bench apart from the keeper. Interesting on Monday morning when Cellino flies in...
Hockawally picked his strongest 11 or what he believes to be his strongest 11 you might not agree with it but he is the coach.Basically he is telling Cellino his signings are not good enough. why are your fans venting their anger at Hockawally ? He is telling Cellino what you lot should be telling Cellino because if you dont it will continue. i know you lot will slaughter me for this but hey-ho. 2 weeks till the season starts
..Because they paid their money and like I said before are entitled to have a go at this overpaid twat, the same twat who said he didn't want to come back to Leeds and was happy at the Wall.
By all accounts our best player today was Silvestri, the only new signing to start the match. When the other new signings were introduced, Doukara, Bianchi and Berardi, the team visibly improved. So I think we're correct in our assessment, Hockaday's a clueless ****.
