Feel sorry for Saints if they end up losing 7 or 8 of their first team regulars.
 
Apparently made a £14m bid for Shaq! Would be god if true and accepted.
 
Looks like Assaidi to Stoke deal has stalled due to his wage demands. Can't shift anybody. Going to have a pretty bloated squad at this rate.

1. Can't see us or anyone getting Shaq for £14m
2. Feel for Saints fans, their players play well as a team, but few of them are stars/potential stars. The owners do seem to be cashing in whilst they can.
3.The reason we can't get rid of players is the fact although we pay very average wages, by some clubs standards, we pay them to below average players. The likes of City pay above average wages to above average/brilliant players.

Chambers rumoured for 16mil.....the kids only ever played 25 games. ****ing crazy.
 
Have to agree with the guys feeling for Southampton fans in all this, must be a nightmare. Hopefully they will be able re invest it and keep moving forward. To be fair they obviosuly have a great scouting network inplace to have brought most these players in, and the acadamy at Soton needs to be applauded also.

Fairly certain that most for the past twenty years you have been buying players from teams below you, when you finish top or second you dont get much choice.
By your logic we can only buy from city or teams that won la liga or bundesliga
