According to an article in the Times, Sevilla have made an approach for him. Not used to rumours in Times so have no idea of it's accuracy.

Norwich 'is willing to get rid'? I doubt that at the sort of figures quoted therein.

Though they doubt the validity of Transfermarkt's valuation, I'd say it was spot on, even a little low.

They might be interested, but the telling phrase seems to be that the money that Norwich want will be a stumbling block. Almost certainly, IMO.

Yes, I was impressed with the 188 inches. He's even taller than I thought.

Just read the piece in the times, which amounts to little more than stating there was an approach and we want to get some money. Whilst journalistically I hold the times in high regard I've never been particularly convinced by the sports reporting

Yet another journo who picks up a rumour on his computer and passes it on without any attempt to check it.

Do you remember going to reserve matches when the first team were away and they would keep you up to date with the first team score. By the 70's the service was quite good but before that they obviously relied on a ' reporter ' running to a public phone box and the reports were always at least 30mins behind. Amazingly in those days you could go to a newsagent at 7 o'clock and buy a pink un. I also seem to remember a man walking round the ground with a sandwich board containing half time scores but I might be thinking of somewhere else.

    I remember that well!p
They'd walk around after each goal scored at CR. One match there were five goals in the space of seven or eight minutes, the poor sods had just done a side & a width when in went another, they'd scramble back to hang the next set of goal time numbers and scurry off.
By the time the fith goal went in they'd got behind by a couple and looked ****ed carting that heavey plywood board around !
Technology ? Got a lot to answer for !

Was that the same board they used for the 'Golden Goal' competition?

And your golden goal, timed by Croydon's the jewellers, was at.....
Plus about 20 guys, on the pitch at half time, furiously pitchforking every divot.
I know you still get one or two, but the pitches used to get 'weatherbeaten' a lot more in those days.

Don't forget the blanket at half time, or a band playing as well
