Thomson was placed on the sex offenders register earlier this month after pleading guilty to two charges of indecent behaviour.

He was also fined £4,000 for his lewd, libidinous and indecent behaviour towards two girls, aged 12 and 14, over the internet.

He probably needs to be taken away from the public limelight for his own safety, that aside -no way he should be allowed to continue playing

He's finished as far as I can see. Where can he go? Even if he moves abroad to play the opposition fans and media, courtesy of this wonderful thing called the internet , will find out he's a *****phile.

He's going to be a hate figure wherever he goes.

He should be sacked immiediatly, but knowing this country he would probably sue Hearts for breach of contract and win.

He is going to have a very tough season ahead of him and he fully deserves it.

The thing that I think people are neglecting is the fact that Hearts apparently knew about this and continued to let him work with kids!

sounds familiar.

As far a I can see provided he is not working with or around kids there is no legal basis for sacking him..

That aid if he was willing to go I'm sure they would and should attempt to terminate his contract.

Balls. Most employers have it in their terms & conditions fo employment that they can bin any member of staff convicted of a serious offence. Where I work, being done for drink driving is a sackable offence, even though driving aint part of my job.

This twat should have been sacked instantly.

**** sake, what alot of hysterical ****e being spouted here.

Once the season gets under way, the guy is going to wish he was in prison.

Hearts employed Graham Rix too - who was jailed for shagging his best mates 15 yo daughter <yikes>

As the Manic Street Preachers hit goes:

"If you tolerate Rix - Then your children will be next"

He should be sacked.

Strange how *****phile Michael Jackson's XBOX Connect game's on sale the noo.
