Our new signing (Diaby) got 45 minutes under his belt so it all looks ominous for our rivals...

    He still exists? <laugh>

Out of interest, who deals with contract renewals at Arsenal? Hasn't this guy missed pretty much 85% of the last 4-5 seasons? Who on earth renewed his deal that would've kept him with you for this long!? Lol.

Negredo has broken his foot. A real shame for him.

Wonder if City will stick with what they've got or now bring someone in.

Twitter rumour. Anything even vaguely substantive to support it?
Considering that he's played about one full season if you combine his appearances from the last four, he should be paying some back! <laugh>

I read somewhere" Is this the season West Ham finish above Spurs?" I don't know from where this sentiment comes.

A few West Ham fans must have been on the piss when posting that.

Though Enner Valencia is a very good signing for them I think, looked very impressive in the world cup, surprised no bigger clubs were in for him.

As SOS says, it's either some pissed up fans, or some deluded, Spammer loving journalist. I think even Sherwood would have kept up way above that dross!...

I think I read that, it was just some Spammer fan's blog. I skipped most of it but even he didn't seem to think it was actually possible this season, just wishful thinking I guess.

West Ham finished as many points behind us last season as we finished behind, er... nobody, actually.
The 29 points difference would've seen us win the league by 12 points.
Could they make up that gap in one season? It's possible. Seems rather unlikely, though. They should probably focus on catching Palace.

West Ham will be playing tika-taka next season so they'll be unstoppable, the only question is will they do the double or treble.

    #21735
  16. They should concentrate of staying within touch of Burnley.

Claret and Poo is like a vacuum. Nature abhors them.
With too many such clubs now in the PL, at least one of them will be
violently expelled into the wilderness come May.

I'd rather they put all their energies into catching up with Barnet.
