Holy crap there's a lot of thunder n lightning. Lightning flashes every 20 seconds or so!!

I like that. You can count the seconds between seeing the lightning and hearing the thunder and triangulate how far away it was. Then you can tell, if you do a few, if it's moving towards or away from you. Besides, I find rain and thunder and lightning soothing when trying to go to sleep. <ok>

A house about 5 minutes from me got hot last night! Bit hole in the roof and was a fire!

I heard sirens when I was awake last night at 2am, must have been a fire engine attending the house <yikes>
