Hello All, Long time no post from me! In all seriousness to this thread, are no saints fans making a stand here? It is quite obvious to us, who have been through the asset stripping phase a number of times, that this is exactly what is happening to SFC at present. How long before the Premier League make a stand against these "owners" who use football clubs as play things only to take the money and run when the fad wears off? £75m in and not really anyone of any worth coming in to match....I guarantee that Koeman will reach the end of August deadline day having spent a fraction of the "war chest" available to him and the fans will be left in the dark. As we are now aware, as Pompey fans, that the fans are the only constant in football - now if a team is being asset stripped (it is, no one can really deny that) then surely something must be done? I don't often agree with SB3 - but on this occasion I think he is spot on and SFC will find themselves deep in the mire come Christmas. When KL doesn't spend in the January window (Selling more players no doubt) and then sells up next summer when they are a Championship team then where does it stop? Fit and Proper testing still is not happening!
