My fingers are badly burnt, I had the first 2 winners at Newmarket, yet I had so much on Midday that I've still done my bollocks on the day. I'm going through the Doncaster card trying to find a winner or 2 to recoup my losses

That's the thing with racing, anything can happen. I should be wary about AOB swell his horses form is a joke, they run terrible then they bolt up, it happens all the time. St Nicholas Abbey at Chester wound me up the most, the horse finished 3rd in a listed race, then stormed home like a top class G1 performer at Chester.

Chance Gardner....You may think it's ****, but I can assure you the Chester race was a fix. As I'm sure you know Harris Tweed is a front runner and he likes to boss things from the front, and if given an uncontested lead he is very effective particularly at Chester.
Chink Of Light, by continually challenging his lead, meant Harris Tweed never settled, and was pulling like a train the whole way round. Watch the race again it's so obvious what was going on.
Chink Of Light ended up last beaten 37 lengths, because Fortune had completely sacrificed his horses chances by increasing and decreasing his horses gallop early on just to p!ss off Harris Tweed![]()
