I've asked some Necastle fans on their unbiased views of Nile Ranger.

We hope to hear from them shortly.

Bribed them with some Newcastle Brown Ale

Nile Ranger:

Pros:
has genuine ability/potential
can be a handful for defenders
reasonable pace & strength

Cons:
he's a complete and utter imbecile in every way imaginable, which basically negates all of his pros

Avoid like the plague. Do not touch!

This guy had some promise way back but from a football perspective he fulfilled none of it. More than likely down to his self-destructive attitude and a lack of willingness to train hard. If he had zero baggage he'd be a risk. With this guy's baggage he will cause nothing but bother. Bad for the dressing room and bad for your club's image.

Our dressing room (I think) was lost for the second half of last season apart from that one game v Huddersfield where we were amazing. We certainly don't need anyone to disrupt it further.

And to put that in perspective, I'm a dyed in the wool bleeding heart liberal who believes in giving everyone a second chance. I see nothing wrong with giving players who have made mistakes a chance. They've done their time and they are usually dirt cheap. Ranger hasn't showed any signs of learning or changing tho and I'm not sure he will until things go very badly for him.

Ristac your comments may well be 100% so I'm not going to slag them off, BUT some of the players we have were capable of performing at top 6 level up to Xmas!!!! to me that smacks of shyte management and not on the quality of the players. We could even see twats we can't offload turn out to be great .... Hunt for a start, Byram, Murphy, Smith, Pearce, Wootton, Mowatt, Dawson and thats eight before you even look at who we brought in and who could do a job. Lees, White 4 Italians and some kids promoted. Wait and see mate before slitting your wrists.
