Guys, I see no Marshall or campbell there. Does that mean they are on their way or just not starting.

Jimmy Rollo? Brings back memories, brave header for a goal in a league cup tie where he got knocked out. Can't remember who it was against tho.

We've a squad of 40, not everyone will feature all the time. Marshall, there's no real need to play too much in pre-season. Campbell seems to want out, we've recruited heavily up front. We'd miss the former more than the latter.

I do agree with you, Marshall would be a big loss. You have already signed better players than Campbell.

campbell is underrated by people on here, he will guarantee goals if he stays.

who are the better strikers we have signed than campbell? i'd say the only better striker than FC is le fondre, and even then its close. if we kept him we'd have 2 proven goalscorers, plus macheda and mason who are both capable of 15-20 goals. that would be the best strike force in the league…… the other strikers: jones, berget and velinkonja i'd move on, but we'd struggle to find anyone willing to take them….

oh, and javi guerra, don't know anything about him, mason can play different positions so keep him and then we've got strength in depth………<ok>

Marshall's tweaked something in training according to Wales on line, that's why they haven't risked him yet. But he is going to Austria for the pre-season training. I think he'll be in the starting line up when we play Blackburn, just got a feeling!

Reported yesterday that Arsenal put off by City's £10m price tag.

Be a big boost to have Marshall between the sticks at Ewood BUT he is still a worry at dealing with crosses, and you can bet your life Conway and others will be pumping them in for Rudy..........so OGS get thinking on which full backs will be stopping the balls coming in.
