    No, it doesn't. Every time someone says this, it's obvious they had no idea who Rickie Lambert was when we signed him. There was so, so much more to his game.

    The point I was trying to make was that many people didn't think much of Ricky when he first arrived and I doubt even with your superior knowledge you have no idea if he will be a good signing or not?

    Obviously nobody can know 100% if someone is going to be a success or failure, but having watched Pelle a few times I do not see a player who will regularly get goals in the PL. I could be completely wrong and he may be a success, but forums are all about opinions and that is mine
