deal done great. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28180600 just want to say typical bbc. its high time all lfc fans boycott the site now. "luis suarez controversies" rather than full history. bought 23 mil, sold 75mil, 31 goals, PFA, FWA player of year.. no lets just post the bad side.
I like the BBC. If it wasn't for the Beeb there'd only be about 5 minutes of watchable telly on per week as far as I'm concerned. It's only their sports department that's a bag of ****e.
well he'd know... he f'n knows nothing as proved time after time since the rafa line of communication ended. 88mil is aorund the houses which is about 75mil. the release is 75mil in fact he picked it up off a spanish tv channel cos he knew nothing when the agreement was reached as i looked at his twitter and that tv channel got the timing compeltely wrong too. so all in all.... i'll stick with 75mil but f me i don't care if it was less cos its done and dusted thanfully in JULY not late august and we can all move on.
Ben Smith's story on the transfer on BBC is titled 'Barcelona get their man, Liverpool get their money' - don't like what the negative tone implies there.
We wouldn't sanction a deal if we didn't think it was in our best interest.. Alot of these ITKs make it up the best of times.. Ballague, didn't he not report the Neymar deal at 40m? When we all know now that it was closer to 90m... In short, Luis didn't want to stay, we got our money... Thanks for the memories mate (not so much the ones that put our clubs name in the mud)..
Here is a more balanced article that has good as well as bad: http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/jul/11/luis-suarez-12-defining-moments-liverpool
The fail showing their hate. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/index.html I reckon Suarez could sue them over the "racist" bit.
I can see Liverpool struggling to get into the top four next season, let's be fair you were a one man team last season
they get what they want and still go into #meltdown It just shows you can never be satisfied when your heart is #bitter
You're having a laugh but some of your fellow fans aren't UberAFC: Liverpool fans: 'No player is bigger than the club' Reality: Suarez WAS your club last season http://t.co/Tdplryz4UN
To be fair to the journalists- they're doing what sells... It's much easier to sell papers (and clicks) to people who are looking for a good laugh and being able to look down their noses. Leave out the controversy and it loses half the click-appeal. Also, look at the majority of the rival fans (not all) - most are highlighting his controversies not his goals... rival fans make up the majority of the clicks. They're doing what sells.
The media in Spain tow the Barcelona/Real line. They were always going to make out that they played hard ball and Liverpool bowed to the pressure of the mighty Spanish side. Happens every single time they sign a player from abroad. The Spanish press always report a lower figure than everyone else. I'm surprised they didn't report that Suarez was so desperate to leave he bought out the remainder of his contract or clause. That's a favourite there too.
