I know this is going to take it even more off topic but it is answering a point made. Happy - to be fair to DMD, he did respond twice to my messages and I don't even know the person that is DMD (so he's not my "mate")

Off topic is fine, unless dutch thinks otherwise of course. Or if he's told to think otherwise.

I never suggested you were his mate, his mate is he who can't be named for fear of post deletion and strongly worded PMs from dutch. Last time, 3 of us got a warning about it. Together. Even though CeeGee started it. Bastard.

You do post some bilge. It was pointed out to you, as it has been to others in the past, that it's not acceptable to try to reveal a posters personal details on here, I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it done to you.

Nothing to do with my opinion. or what anyone told me. For what it's worth, nobody at all PM'd me to complain about the posts. I spotted it and raised it.

Outstanding article by PB and illustrates the amazing change in our prospects since Steve Bruce took over. For those of us who've been through the ups and downs and the many dark days over the past 60+ years I still find it hard to believe that we are now being seriously mentioned as a potential Top-10 Premiership team, played in the Cup Final in May, and are going into Europe.!!!

Better than the norm but undone by that lame article on the Curtis Davies situation. Buckingham is just doing a job of work for the paper when all said and done. Why the HDM cannot find a genuine Hull City fan to do the reporting simply beggars belief.

It's a good article, I'm guessing Phil is actually a supporter and it means a bit more to him
You would guess wrong then. PB is a Mackem.

Once a mackem always a mackem. Buckingham's own words. I dont have an issue with who he supports but would just prefer a Hull City fan doing his job.

I just can't understand this attitude. Real tedious talking about the single biggest issue affecting our club.
.

Only by those who ""would not let it lie"".

Analogy - a comparison between one thing/scenario and another, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

Blampey took this thread off topic (and not accidentally). If you think anything different, then the brick wall I'm banging my head against just got thicker.

Your inability or refusal to see what's in front of you is tiresome. You are proof that if you continue preaching the lie, it eventually becomes your truth.

My original comment was

"Standard close season column filler, glossing over the name-change fiasco, poor season-ticket sales and lack of sponsor."

In other words, I was giving my opinion of the article : it was peddling water, not 'news' as such and studiously avoiding the underlying issues which affect the club and its supporters.

As such, then, it was very much on topic, being my opinion of the alleged excellent article.
