    The header he took away from Higuain was fantastic defending. Better defensively than Debuchy, bit clumsy going forward. Can we not just sign the dutch national team. Clasie looked good, De Vrig has been terrific, I think Martins Indi is off elsewhere, and I'd really like Blind, Wijnaldum, Depay <laugh>

    I'd take Vlaar in a shot. He's been different class at this World Cup. What the hell he is still doing at Villa i'll never understand

    Apparently Feyenoord want £6million for Jaanmat so obviously NUFC have offered £5million. Rumours that NUFC will not entertain the prospect of going any higher.

    Apparently we won't sell Debuchy until we have a replacement signed. I think we'll sign Janmaat. We met the Cabella valuation (eventually) and I think the same will happen here. We tested the waters and will increase our bid.

    Yeah if the club gets him across the line who cares how much our original bid was. Its like buying a car, no matter how much you want the car you never pay the ticketed price unless you absolutely have to. I think janmaat will do very well here. Im still hoping desperately for cabella, hoping something doesnt happen.

    That trending twitter news link has a lot of noise that NUFC are close to signing Grenier too. I shouldn't have looked - it gets your hopes up!
