If I had £100 then I'd spend it on a ticket to see Dylan before Young. But then, if I could I'd spend it on seeing early Floyd or Cream than either of the other two
I've seen Dylan and he was **** but he's a bit of a twat live and does what he wants, I saw him at Hyde Park more than a decade ago and he didn't play any of his songs only covers.

A strange thing live, I'm a big fan but don't know if I'd want to see them........................
I can forgive lesser mortals But early Floyd just came out of nowhere and either blew you away or just passed you by. Me, it just took to the hights! The later stuff (post Barret) took some getting into.
I agree and can see how at the time it would have been great but I've never been able to get into it......Passed me by as you said.
Were you discussing Wilco? I'll have to look back, I just remember you saying Floyd were s**t! Re: Whiskeytown, I'll give it a whirl now.

I will never forget the night I went with my brother to a Laser Light display in the Vancouver Planetarium featuring Pink Floyd back in the 90's. A truly uplifting experience, I was buzzing for hours after that. Needless to say, we had sampled the local herb before we went in so it was hard to say whether the music was that good.
Ba dum tish! I wasn't really following the discussion the last few pages, I was just listening to the tunes. I should really be paying more attention
Evening folks,some floyd.............
